Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung: The Most Powerful Healing Tool
Ra Ma Da Sa, Sa Say So Hung is the mantra of the sacred healing meditation that was first taught in the summer of 1973. This healing meditation is used to pray for healing energy for our friends, family and ourselves. It was also practiced in all White Tantric Yoga® courses for the tantric Mahan, Yogi Bhajan.
“For distance healing, this is the mantra. It cuts through time and space so you can send healing energy to someone thousands of miles away as easily as you can send it to someone across the room.”
-Shakti Parwha Kaur
Kundalini Yoga practitioners have been using this meditation for the last four and a half decades. Try it when you want to send healing energy to a loved one or need to heal yourself.
Practicing the mudra and mantra correctly will optimize the flow of energy and make this meditation even more powerful.
The Posture: Sit in easy position (sitting on the floor, cross-legged) or in a chair with feet planted firmly on the floor, spine straight, and with a slight neck lock applied (chin slightly tilted back). behind).
Mudra: The mudra (hand position) is the most important. The elbows are bent down at the sides, and are placed comfortably but firmly against the ribs. The forearms are almost perpendicular to the ground, with the hands extended at a 45-degree angle from the center of the body. The most important thing is that the palms of the hands are perfectly flat, facing up, the hands bent back at the wrists. You should feel a tug in your lower forearm as you almost hyperextend your wrist so your palms are flat. (This tends to be the most challenging part of the meditation, so it's important not to let your hands relax out of position.) The fingers are kept side by side, except that the thumb extends from the other four fingers.
Eyes: The eyes are closed.
Mantra: This mantra consists of 8 basic sounds:
Ra Ma Da Sa, Sa Say So Hung
Translation:
Ra – Sun
Ma–Moon
Daa – Earth
Saa – Infinite Impersonal
Saa Say – Totality of infinity
So – Personal sense of fusion and identity
Hung – The infinite, vibrant and real.
This mantra harnesses the energies of the sun, moon, earth, and the Infinite Spirit to bring about profound healing. It is important to pull the navel point hard on the first Sa and on the Hung. Note that the word Hung is not long and long. Rather, it cuts hard when pulling on the navel. Chant a complete cycle of the mantra with each breath. Then take a deep breath and repeat. Remember to move your mouth precisely with each sound. Try to feel the resonance in your mouth and sinus area.
Mental Focus: You may choose to mentally visualize the person or persons you wish to heal, while sending this energy to them for their well-being.
Time: Continue chanting for 11 to 31 minutes.
To End: To end the meditation, take a deep breath and hold your breath, while offering a healing prayer. Visualize the person you wish to heal as if they were totally healthy, radiant and strong. See the person completely enveloped in healing white light and completely healed. Then exhale and inhale deeply again, hold your breath, and offer the same prayer again. Exhale.
To complete, take a deep breath, stretch your arms up, and shake your hands and fingers vigorously for several seconds. Keep your arms up and your hands shaking as you exhale. Repeat two more times and relax.
